Marsden Community Assocation (MCA) was constituted in 1980 with the aim of preventing the demolition of the Marsden Mechanics building and for it to be brought into community use . All inhabitants of Marsden are automatically members of the MCA.
The MCA’s current focus is the annual christmas lights.
The MCA can also act as an umberella organisation in order to obtain funding for new groups whose aims are sympathetic with our own. We can do this as the MCA is a registered charity with an audited bank account. If you would like to know more about this please contact us.
